View is amazing

The room, very clean. The staff very helpful and nice. The weather is nice. The surrounding area very clean and nice, I can take afternoon and morning walk. Or just sit by the river.

The food not so good. I tried nasi goreng and its too salty for my taste. For the room, I booked the standart room with 2 beds. The beds and the room are too small. Need to booked New Executive Room for bigger room.

The view is nice and natural. Staff are polite.

They said renovated and modern but the rooms were not like that at all. Yellowish and dirty wallpaper, rusty shower and dusty coffee sets. Bugs and ants everywhere, even the big red ants inside the room, cannot sleep well. Breakfast is very limited in varieties and portion. How can you pay a premium price when they limit what you can take for meatball soup and other menus?

The view

The view was amazing, the fresh air, the breakfast was great, the quiet surrounding. The kid's playground was so fun, my kids loved it so much.

We stayed at edelwiss room which had a garden and river view. But at first we arrived in our room, there were a plenty of red ants on the floor and some on the bed. In spite of the risk for hotel rooms located near the garden, but I think the housekeeping should have more attention and priorities for this room's type. To do the clean up more often and to have kind of preventive tools so no bugs would come inside the rooms. Oh one more think, please put Exit / Lobby sign at the garden road because we hardly found our way to the lobby from our room's location.

It’s so nature friendly. Near the river. Plenty of facility to explore. Kids really love it. Too bad we only stay one night and do not have time to try the ATV. But kids loves cycling near the river. Bfast is excellent as well. Staffs are quick and friendly

I loved the fact that this is off the beaten foreign tourist track! Only about 90 mins (traffic permitting) from Adisucipto Airport, it is tucked away in a quiet corner that is about 14kms away from Borobudur UNESCO World Heritage Site. Well planned resort layout with lots of activities to engage in. I personally enjoyed the swimming pool. Needless to say, a lot of cannon balls fell in that pool! Also, located right next to a river where you can try river rafting. Nature all around you. And so peaceful. Especially in the evenings. The food is so cheap for a five star resort. You won’t need to venture outside of the resort to find food. The breakfast buffet is heaven! As an ardent foodie, I know this for a fact! Haha The staff are always quick to respond to your needs and they try very hard to do this in spite of the fact that the language might be a barrier. Foreigners, respect the culture and learn a few necessary words. There is google translate after all. I would definitely return to this place should I visit Yogyakarta again. Highly recommended.

Great nature ambiance by a tranquil river, that was numero uno! Lovely quality family time at Puri Asri. On monday we had the riverside by ourself. We wish we could have an andong ride by the river as shown on promotional materials. Wish we had more time to enjoy at the pool as well, and find a store to buy swimming gear. Would like to try Resto Apung n dinner at the resto. Ayis the shuttle driver was very patient to handle our queries. The HK staff too helped us with the spider and providing the babycot. Slippers provided were good as a lot of walk is needed around the hotel property. It would be nicer if the logo was embedded or something like that, not just a plain flipflop. Will be back surely as we just have a new project in Magelang.

For a 1st timer, we weren't fully aware of all facilities provided, how to use it. Flipped through reviews by bloggers. It was actually my birthday. In other hotels a greeting card or chocolate or flowers would be given if GROs were aware n put more attention for a special personal touch like that. Check in time is too late at 3PM, the next day we had to rush to do packing cos of the check out time by noon while we had to do our prayer first, furthermore I have a baby to take care first. But were given an another half hour. Ideal would be at 1 o'clock

Breakfast, dinner, are very delicious and a lot of choice. Kids like the pool.
